These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Farming is Life ("we," "us," or "our"), governing your access to and use of our website at farmingislife.com and any purchases made through it. By accessing our website or placing an order, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our site.
2. Our Products
Farming is Life offers physical goods including fresh produce, seeds, and branded merchandise. Product availability may vary by season and supply. All products are subject to availability, and we reserve the right to discontinue or modify any product at any time without prior notice.
Product descriptions, images, and pricing on our website are provided in good faith. We make every effort to accurately represent our products, but slight variations in color, size, or appearance may occur due to the nature of agricultural goods and screen display differences.
3. Orders and Payment
3a. Placing an Order
When you place an order through our website, you are making an offer to purchase the selected products. We reserve the right to accept or decline any order at our discretion. You will receive an order confirmation by email once your order is accepted.
3b. Pricing and Payment
All prices are listed in U.S. dollars and are subject to change without notice. Payment is due at the time of order. We accept payment via credit card, debit card, and other methods made available through our payment processor, Stripe.
By providing payment information, you represent and warrant that you are authorized to use the payment method and that all payment information is accurate and complete.
3c. Taxes
Applicable sales tax will be calculated and added to your order at checkout in accordance with Massachusetts tax law.
4. Local Pickup
Farming is Life currently offers local pickup only. We do not offer shipping or delivery at this time. Pickup details, including location, available pickup windows, and any instructions, will be provided in your order confirmation email.
Please ensure you or an authorized person is available to collect your order within the designated pickup window. Unclaimed orders may be canceled, and refunds will be issued in accordance with our Refund Policy. We are not responsible for product quality after the pickup window has passed.
5. Cancellations
You may request to cancel an order by contacting us at info@farmingislife.com as soon as possible. We will make every effort to accommodate cancellation requests before your order is prepared. Once an order has been prepared and made available for pickup, cancellations may not be possible and will be handled in accordance with our Refund Policy.

Refund Policy

1. Overview
At Farming is Life, we take pride in the quality of our fresh produce, seeds, and merchandise. Because we sell perishable and agricultural goods for local pickup, our refund policy reflects the nature of these products. Please read this policy carefully before placing an order.
2. Eligibility for Refunds
Produce and Perishable Goods
We want you to be completely satisfied with every purchase. If you receive produce or perishable goods that are:
- Damaged, spoiled, or in poor condition at the time of pickup
- Significantly different from what was described on our website
- Incorrect items delivered to your pickup order
Please notify us within 24 hours of pickup by contacting hello@farmingislife.com with a description of the issue and, if possible, photos of the affected items. We will work with you to issue a full or partial refund, or provide a replacement at our discretion.
Seeds
Seed germination and crop performance depend on many factors beyond our control, including soil conditions, climate, planting practices, and care. Refunds for seeds are available only if:
- The seeds were damaged or spoiled at the time of pickup
- The wrong variety or quantity was provided
Refunds are not available for seeds based on germination rate or crop yield after purchase.
Merchandise
Branded merchandise (apparel, accessories, and similar items) may be returned for a refund within 14 days of pickup if:
- The item is unused and in its original condition and packaging
- The item is defective or damaged at the time of pickup
We do not accept returns on merchandise that has been worn, washed, or used.
3. Non-Refundable Items
The following are not eligible for refunds:
- Products that have deteriorated due to improper storage after pickup
- Products that were not collected within the designated pickup window
- Perishable goods reported more than 24 hours after pickup
- Seeds reported for germination failure or crop performance
- Used or worn merchandise
- Orders canceled after preparation is complete (see Section 5)
4. How to Request a Refund
To initiate a refund request, please contact us at hello@farmingislife.com with the following information:
- Your name and order number
- A description of the issue
- Photos of the product, if applicable (strongly recommended for perishables)
We aim to respond to all refund requests within 2 business days. Approved refunds will be issued to your original payment method via Stripe. Please allow 5 to 10 business days for the refund to appear on your statement, depending on your bank or card issuer.
5. Order Cancellations
If you need to cancel an order, please contact us as soon as possible at hello@farmingislife.com. Orders canceled before preparation begins will receive a full refund. Once an order has been prepared and made available for pickup, we may not be able to issue a full refund. We will handle cancellation requests on a case-by-case basis.
6. Unclaimed Orders
Orders not collected within the designated pickup window may be forfeited. Refunds for unclaimed orders are at our sole discretion and may not be available for perishable goods due to their nature.
7. Exchanges
We do not offer direct product exchanges at this time. If you received an incorrect or defective item, please contact us and we will arrange a replacement or refund as appropriate.
